12 Days of Anime 2015 – Intro

It’s almost time for Christmas, and I figured it would be as good a year as any to participate in something I’ve enjoyed seeing others do for years – 12 Days of Anime.

The setup here is simple, and you can read about them over at The Cart Driver. The gist of it is that for the next twelve days I will post something anime-related from this year. In my case, I decided to pick out and delve into twelve episodes of anime that aired this year and left a lasting impression on me.

These might not be the best twelve episodes of the year, or even from particularly great shows as a whole – what is more important is that they stuck with me for whatever reason, and I want to revisit them now that the year is over. They also aren’t in any particular order, just the order I thought of them mostly.

The only real downside here is that, by nature, I can’t really promise there won’t be spoilers, so if you want to avoid that, I suppose you will simply have to skip the ones you haven’t personally seen. However, I implore you to still read them, even if you haven’t seen the show! These episodes each mean a lot to me, after all, and I will try to make it easy for you to understand why, regardless of your experience with the anime.
